How Can I Help?

I provide a safe, supportive, and authentic environment that encourages open sharing, self-exploration, and personal growth.

Everyone encounters obstacles and challenges.  Too often, people believe they must figure things out on their own, suffer in silence, or rely on misguided advice. I help individuals navigate their challenges and develop the tools they need to work through difficulties and emerge stronger on the other side.

Counselling for Individuals

For nearly 20 years in private practice, I have helped hundreds of individuals transform their lives by:

  • Getting to the heart of core issues and guiding individuals toward clarity, stronger self-esteem and effective solutions to personal and relationship challenges.

  • Developing self-awareness and emotional intelligence, often by releasing negative mental, emotional, and behavioural patterns that contribute to anxiety, depression, confusion, excessive guilt, shame and grief,

  •  Learning to like, respect, and trust yourself—including your own perceptions, emotions, and inner guidance - while transforming your self image.

  • Overcoming the exhaustion of people-pleasing and reducing self-blame or guilt when conflict arises

  • Healing anxious and avoidant attachment patterns to build confidence and repair relationships.

  • Supporting recovery from narcissistic abuse

  • Facilitating trauma recovery in a safe, supportive manner

Counselling for Couples

I am passionate about guiding couples toward greater happiness, confidence, and success in their relationships.

Far too often, couples become ‘stuck’ in negative patterns and unhelpful habits. In many cases, they benefit from the support of an objective professional who can help prioritize open communication and develop effective conflict repair skills.

An important part of this work involves identifying anxious and avoidant attachment styles – and working through them – to create healthier communication and conflict repair.  Often underlying wounds and defensive patterns must first be acknowledged and healed.

Wherever you find yourselves, I am ready to help you with:

  • Conflict resolution and repair, with the goal of open, honest, and respectful communication

  • Working through defensiveness so feedback is understood as valuable information for growth—not as a personal attack

  • Re-establishing shared goals and a common vision to support both individual growth and growth as a couple

  • Identifying and overcoming anxious and avoidant attachment patterns

  • Reversing relationship decay and restoring connection

  • Learning how to remain true to yourself and your partner, rather than losing yourself through people-pleasing or emotional over-regulating

  • Develop personal accountability as a foundation for healthy relationships while releasing resentment and hostility.

  • Cultivate a growth mindset to be happy and have healthy, fulfilling, and lasting relationships
